T3: NFETI - Nursing Facility Evacuation Training Initiative 2026 (Tabletop Exercise)

This NFETI Tabletop Exercise (Tier 3) is a scenario-based discussion designed to stress-test how nursing facilities make evacuation vs. shelter-in-place decisions under real Lowcountry conditions. Using a 36-hour hurricane/storm surge timeline with limited transportation and potential route closures, participants will work through TAL counts and transport requests, resident tracking/manifests and receiving handoff, and communications—especially family notification pressure—using their actual facility plans and constraints. A no-fault format keeps the focus on practical decisions, coordination, and documentation that holds up when the weather (and reality) gets loud.
